// The future laundromat: a place supporting health and promoting a different approach on how to engage with the human microbiome. // As people have recognized that many of their problems and diseases where caused by the ignorance on how to treat their own microbiome, they stopped seeing bacteria as a threat. The extinction of important microbes has been acknowledged and a lack of biodiversity is creating weaker humans that have more difficulties adapting to their surroundings. Scientists advise against exaggerated hygiene and recommend using the bioreceptive laundromats to revitalize the skin microbiome. Almost every laundromat is now changing to this concept and is being equipped with a lab and the new microbe friendly washing machines. The little organisms that live in and on us are appreciated like never before. Due to this attitude a lot of new ideas come up on how to enhance humans by enhancing their microbiome.
